eClinic Manager - Phone Appointment

Author => This article explains how to use the T-Pro CLINIC MANAGER to make phone calls to your patients.

If you have not yet worked with eCM please see the Introduction first.


You can use eCM also for phone appointments.

Note: The phone call appointments typically derive from your clinic's internal information system.

In the Clinic Schedule they appear with a handset icon.

1 - Phone appointment integrated from your clinic's internal IT system; no invite has been sent out via eCM yet (grey icon)

2 - Phone appointment including an eCM invite (the handset icon turns blue)

Starting the call from the Clinic Schedule

  1. Click on a phone number to call the patient.


    The Phone Session window opens.


    It displays the patient information at the top.
    You are able to take notes before and during the call.

  2. Click on the green CALL button to ring the patient.
    Status: Ringing

  3. Click on HANG UP to end the call.

    Status: Call Completed; call duration eight minutes

=> A confirmation message is displayed by the system.

If you select YES the entry in your Clinic Schedule will show as a taken call (greyed out).

Note: You can also phone a patient who is scheduled for a video appointment by simply clicking on the phone number entry in the clinic schedule:

=> The phone session window opens as shown above.
