How to Troubleshoot Foot Pedal Issues

Transcriber => This article describes how to troubleshoot any footpedal related issues on a MS Windows PC.

  1. Open the Control Panel.

  2. Select Devices & Printers.

3. Locate the foot pedal in the list.
4. Right click and select Properties.

5. Select the Hardware tab.
6. Under Device Functions select HID-complaint device.
7. Click Properties.

8. Click on Change Settings.

9. Select the Driver tab.
10. Click Uninstall Device.

11. Now repeat steps 6 - 10 for the USB Input Device.

12. Once removed, the foot pedal will no longer be displayed in Devices & Printers.
13. Disconnect the foot pedal from the PC.
14. Reboot the PC.
15. Plug into a DIFFERENT USB port on the computer.
16. The foot pedal should be working now.
