Department Lock - Member Only Access

Master & Manager role =>This article explains how to restrict access to specific departments.

Updated over 3 months ago

For departments dealing with especially sensitive areas (e.g. transplant, sexual health, etc.) the access to those tasks can be limited.

This can be done when setting up a new department but also at any later stage by editing the department settings.

  1. Go to the relevant department and click on the pencil icon.

  2. In the Edit Department window activate Member only access.
You have the same option when creating a new department.

  3. SAVE your changes.

=> Member access is then granted to all Author and Transcriber users which are part of that department or will be added to it.

Users with only a Manager account could not access such tasks.

This applies to any task created in this department.
